This large fruit and serving bowl is wheel-thrown from teal stoneware and decorated with a raised gold crescent moon and stars. At approx. Ø 8.2″ across, it’s at home on a dining table as a fruit bowl, a salad bowl, or as a decorative centerpiece.
About This Piece
The gold crescent moon and stars are raised details applied by hand and fired separately in gold luster — warm and metallic against the teal glaze. The bowl is wide and gently shallow, giving the celestial details room to be seen. Natural variation in glaze tone and texture is part of the handmade character.
