This espresso cup is hand-pinched from speckled cream stoneware and personalized with the name or word of your choice. The pinched technique creates a softly irregular form — slightly organic at the rim, warm in the hand — in a way no wheel-thrown cup can replicate.

About This Piece

The name is applied by hand before firing, becoming a permanent part of the clay. Each cup is fired at high temperatures and finished by hand, which means subtle variations in form are normal and expected — this is the nature of pinched pottery.
