This espresso cup is hand-pinched from speckled stoneware and partially glazed — the interior fully sealed, the exterior deliberately left raw. The exposed clay surface is rough, warm to the touch, and quietly striking: a cup that wears its origins openly.
About This Piece
The partial glaze technique is intentional: the interior is fully food-safe and smooth, while the exterior reveals the natural texture and color of the stoneware clay. The pinched form adds organic variation to the rim and body — no two cups are alike.
