Crafting takes place in a small attic apartment. This also includes both parts of the terrace.

Crafting Methods

Ceramic crafting methods include wheel throwing, pinching, and slabbing. Sometimes, a plaster mold may be used.

The glazing process is also done with a brush.

Firing takes place in the Nabertherm top loader. No lead-containing items have ever been fired in this kiln.

Glaze firing : Takes place between 1186 – 1220 (Cone 4-6) degrees Celsius.

Bisque firing : Takes place at around 1,000 degrees Celsius.

Gold luster firing : Takes place at around 760°C.

The generally used materials are;

Glazes : Mayco SW glazes

Clays : Sibelco stoneware clays

Note: It is dishwasher safe and uses a food-safe gold lustre.

It’s a careful and detailed process. I follow each step meticulously. Every item has a delicate journey through this small production facility.
